Returns & Refunds Policy (Australia)

At Gamery Australia, we want you to love what you ordered. This policy explains how returns and refunds work, including your rights under Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
1) Change of mind returns (30 days)
We offer a 30-day change of mind return policy. This means you have 30 days from the date you receive your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a change of mind return:

The item must be unused, unworn, and in the same condition as received

It must be returned in original packaging (including any accessories, inserts, manuals, and protective wrapping)

You must provide proof of purchase (order number/receipt)
Change of mind returns are not available for:

Sale/discounted items (unless required under ACL)

Gift cards
-
Custom or personalised products
-
Perishable goods
-
Personal care goods (where hygiene seals are broken or the product has been used)

Any items that are unsafe to return (e.g., hazardous materials)
If you’re unsure whether your item is eligible, contact us before returning.
2) How to start a return
To start a return, email us at admin@gamery.com.au with:

Your order number

The item(s) you want to return

The reason for return
-
Photos (if the item is damaged/incorrect)

Important: Items sent back without contacting us first may not be accepted.
If your return is approved, we’ll provide instructions on how to send it back.
3) Return shipping costs

Change of mind: You are responsible for return shipping costs (unless we confirm otherwise in writing).

Faulty/damaged/incorrect item: We will cover reasonable return shipping costs as required under ACL.
We recommend using tracked shipping, as you are responsible for the item until it is received by us.
4) Damages, faults, and incorrect items
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us at admin@gamery.com.au as soon as possible so we can make it right.
Where an item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund under Australian Consumer Law.
5) Australian Consumer Law (your rights)
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to:

A replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

A repair or replacement if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
This policy is not intended to limit your rights under ACL.
6) Exchanges
We don’t offer direct exchanges. The fastest way to get what you want is to:

Return the original item (if eligible), and
-
Place a new order once your return is approved.
7) Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll email you to confirm whether it’s approved.
If approved:
-
Refunds are processed to your original payment method
-
Refunds are typically issued within 10 business days

Your bank/payment provider may take additional time to finalise and display the refund
If more than 15 business days have passed since approval, contact us at admin@gamery.com.au.
8) Items returned in unacceptable condition
If an item is returned used, damaged, missing parts/packaging, or not in original condition (and the return is a change-of-mind return), we may:

Decline the return, or

Offer a partial refund where appropriate (at our discretion)
